Work-Study

Sometimes you have available time and the drive to learn, but don’t have access to abundance in the form of cash!

There is typically one work-study position available for each PDC.  Work-study positions are available to people who would normally qualify for TIER #1 Sliding Scale Pricing based on their income bracket AND are able to commit to the following:

  • You can pay a total course tuition of $500. This is 1/3 of the full course fee.
  • You can help with setup and breakdown of class each day.
  • You can help organize the setup and breakdown of meal times (with help from other class volunteers) and keep the coffee/tea station up and running during class times.
  • You have independent transportation and the ability to arrive reliably to class 1 hour early each day and stay about 1 hour extra at the end of the weekend for cleanup.

If you can commit to all of this and you would normally qualify for TIER #1 pricing based on income, then please contact the course administrator.
