A seaside weekend workshop in Saco, Maine (November 10-12, 2017)
Make sure to check the Sliding Scale pricing structure (based on EITHER your household income if registering as an individual or your organization’s annual revenue) and then consider the following options!
If you would normally qualify for TIER #1 pricing, you may be able to fill one of our work-study positions. We have a limited number of work-study positions which would allow you to take this entire training for a total cost of $100. In exchange for the work-study discount, you would assist with tasks such as setup or breakdown, keeping the coffee/tea station running, tidying and/or reorganizing the room as needed. You would need to have reliable transportation to be able to arrive early or stay late (depending on which work-study shift you get). Please contact the event organizer to discuss.
In recognition of historical injustices and inequities that have resulted in differences in wealth accumulation and access to gainful opportunities over several generations, The Resilience Hub is committed to creating additional ways to afford our educational programs for audiences who have experienced some of these dynamics. Of course, this isn’t the whole answer, but it is one of the steps that we are able to take at this time.
Currently, our event budget includes several Solidarity Pricing spots for people who qualify for TIER #1 pricing on our sliding scale, AND at least one of the following:
- People of Color
- First Nations People
- People who identify as LGBTQI
If both of these conditions are true for you, you can let us know during registration and that will bring your total Registration Fee down to $100. Please contact the event organizer to discuss.
If you are registering at least three people together from the same project or organization, please email us to request a discount code that will take an additional 15% off any tickets you purchase (except work-study and solidarity pricing tickets described above).
Would your business or organization like to help make this event possible and keep it accessible? There are two ways to sponsor:
- Contact us to sponsor a specific number of tickets (i.e. you would purchase the tickets) either anonymously or not, for specific people named by you or simply for people who contact us about financial hardship.
- General sponsorship by your organization or business will help make the budget work for this event AND will include a certain number of tickets, logo placement on our digital promotional materials and (highest sponsor level), free half-page advertisement in our printed manual that will be given to all participants.
